The night I went to the City
of Hope (7 January 1992), Jay Leno said in his monologue:
When breast implants are outlawed, only outlaws will have breast implants.

This quote from Jay Leno is particularly ironic because he delivered it in his monologue on the night of
7 January 1992, the first night I was in the City of Hope to receive my high-dose chemotherapy followed by my stem cell transplant. It was during this time that the whole silicone implant controversy was raging.
